One of the most significant, if not unusual aspect of the set for this show is that its has to have a caravan split in half, with enough acting space to get 3/4 people in and it moves (slightly)
So I'm really pleased to have a great designer on board - Martin Mence! For those newer members who don't know Martin, he's an old established member, very talented in set design and Acting . Thanks Martin
Have just found out I'm directing this really brilliant play by Terry Johnson @ the Crescent Theatre 15th - 29th March 2008. Watch this space...........
Filming's not as glamorous as it's cracked up to be. It's a bit of a miserable business if your caravan leaks, your co-star's a manic depressive, and those younger women aren't so young any more. Carrying on in the great tradition of British comedy, Terry Johnson's new play takes some familiar faces and gets a bit familiar with them. Terry Johnson's recent work includes directing the National's production of The London Cuckolds, writing Hysteria and writing/directing Dead Funny and Insignificance.
